Valentines Day Competition

  1. The Promoter is First Impression Labels.
  2. This promotional Competition is open to all South African citizens who are over 18 years of age and in possession of a valid South African identity document or a valid South African passport, except any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. The Competition will run from Tuesday 14 February 2023 to Thursday 16 February 2023 and will end at midnight on Thursday 16 February 2023.
  4. To enter, participants will be required to visit the First Impression Labels South Africa Facebook or LinkedIn page, find the competition post and name their favourite label.
  5. Participants are only permitted to enter once on each platform.
  6. There will be 1 competition Prizewinner across Facebook and LinkedIn. The Promoter will select the competition Prizewinner by random draw from all valid entries received. The Prize can only be awarded to a Prizewinner that has not won any competition within the last 6 (six) months.
  7. The Prize consists of a personalised bottle of wine and a Valentine’s Day hamper with a combined value of R600. Any prizes pictured on promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only and may vary from the actual prize awarded.
  8. Prizewinners will be required to provide their name, ID number and contact details, and to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize.
  9. Prizewinners will be contacted via email/telephone within 1 day of the draw and will be required to verify their details. The Promoter (or their Agent) will endeavour to contact the Prizewinners 3 times after their name is drawn. If the Prizewinners cannot be contacted with those 3 attempts or does not return the voicemail within 24 hours of the last voice message being left by the Promoter, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.

  11. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged or delayed entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  12. The prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are not transferable.
  13. Any attempt to use falsified unique codes or other tactics to enter more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void.
  14. Any attempt to use different Facebook of LinkedIn accounts and by the same user, may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to use any images taken of the winner for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without further remuneration being made payable to the winner. However, the winner has the right to object to these images being used by notification in writing to
  16. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
  17. In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.
  18. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.
  19. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
  20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or LinkedIn. Participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to Facebook or LinkedIn.
  21. All entrants in this Competition release Facebook and LinkedIn from all liabilities and claims that they may have arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
